Change the display. The screens follow.
No more walking the shop device by device: manage the display of all your PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones from a single desk.
Digital labelling for computer retail
The brand, specifications and price are displayed directly on the device's own screen, in your brand's colors. You update an information in the console, and the screens in the store are automatically updated.
No time limit, no card details.
SCRIX is digital labelling software for computer stores.
It shows the brand, the specifications and the price on the screen of the devices on display, computers, smartphones and tablets, and manages every device remotely from a web console.
Prepare your display or price changes in the console: they reach the shop's screens when you publish.
No more walking the shop device by device: manage the display of all your PCs, laptops, tablets and smartphones from a single desk.
The console shows live what each screen is displaying. Check your store from your desk, or from your tablet between two customers.
Uninstallation is launched from the console, and the device leaves as it arrived.
STEP 1
On a computer, unzip the folder and run the shortcut. On a phone or a tablet, install the app. The device shows a QR code and waits.
STEP 2
Take out your phone and scan the QR code. The device joins your fleet with its brand, model, processor, memory, storage and screen already filled in.
STEP 3
Compose the layout in your own style, click Publish. The screen in the store shows it.
SCRIX gives you complete freedom: your logo, your colours, your typeface (import your own), your way of writing prices. Twelve elements and more than a hundred and thirty settings, plus a library of templates to save time.
In the colours of the sector's major retailers. Take one, change it, it becomes yours.
Every element is positioned with the mouse or a fingertip, straight onto the preview. You publish when you are ready, and the store screens show it.
Stars, snow, network, sprites. A gauge shows the processor load, light, medium or heavy, while you adjust.
A trade-in offer, a finance option, this week's promotion: on one device or across the whole fleet at once.
Plus your own, if your brand requires its typeface. Five weights, three alignments.
Twelve manufacturers and eight spec icons are supplied. Your own images take their place whenever you prefer.
Set the currency and its position, the size of the cents, how high they sit, and the angle of the line through the old price. Until you find your own way of showing a price.
A laptop open on a table, a tablet on its stand, a phone in the window. SCRIX installs on all three, adapts to the shape of their screen, and lets you choose how much of it the label takes.
Every device on display shows its own label. The console recognises what it is the moment you add it, and then only offers what makes sense for it.
A client program on Windows and Linux, an app on Android 7 and above. On phones and tablets the device switches to kiosk mode: it shows nothing but its label.
From the 32:9 of very wide panels to the 9:20 of an upright phone, by way of 16:9, 16:10, 4:3 and 3:4. A screen whose format is not on the list takes the nearest one, rescaled.
The label covers the screen, sits as a card in a corner, or runs as a strip down one side. The rest of the screen stays visible when the device has something else to show.
You compose on one format, the others inherit it, rescaled to their screen. Ten pixels below the price stay ten pixels, from a fifteen-inch laptop to a 4K panel.
Laptops, phones and tablets live in the same console, with the same theme and the same gestures. You publish once, the whole aisle follows.
Repairability or durability index, energy class, SAR, eco-contribution, private copying levy: what the law requires you to display fits on the device's own screen, next to its price.
The repairability index, the durability index that is gradually replacing it, and the energy label are placed in their official artwork, in the state's own typeface. You fill them in, you do not redraw them.
The eco-contribution and the private copying levy are written under the amount, in the expected wording, and in your shop's language.
Head, body, limbs: the three values appear as soon as they are filled in, and stay silent when they do not apply.
The customer scans it with their phone and reads the whole record: the index calculation grid, the detailed energy label, the private copying notice.
Windows 10 and 11. On Linux: Debian 11 and above, Ubuntu 20.04 and above, Linux Mint 22, RHEL, Rocky and AlmaLinux 9. On Android: version 7 and above.
A program on computers, an app on phones and tablets. Installed once, it then runs with ordinary user rights.
Every device fetches its record from the server, then keeps itself up to date. Nothing to open on your router, no network to share with the console.
The console tells you a version is available. You choose the moment.
SCRIX shows a product sheet on a screen. That is all it does.
French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian. For the console as well as the store screens.
SCRIX pricing takes two lines: free up to three devices on display, then 79 € a month for the whole shop, with no commitment.

Discover ScreenSpec ProSCRIX is digital labelling software for computer and phone shops. It shows the brand, the specifications and the price on the screen of the devices on display, computers, smartphones and tablets, and manages every device remotely from a web console.
SCRIX is for computer and phone shops and multimedia departments that display devices switched on: independent resellers, franchisees, specialist chains and large stores.
Yes. The price and the specifications appear on the device's own screen. There is no longer a sign to print, to cut out, or to replace when the price changes. Depending on the law and regulations of your country, it may still be wise to keep a backup display.
No. SCRIX uses the screen of the device on display, which is already on the shelf and already switched on.
On Windows 10 and 11, on Linux (Debian 11 and later, Ubuntu 20.04 and later, Linux Mint 22, RHEL, Rocky and AlmaLinux 9), and on Android 7 and later.
Yes. An Android app puts the phone or tablet into kiosk mode: the device shows nothing but its label, and is managed from the same console as the computers.
No. The app is downloaded from the SCRIX site and installs directly on the device, with two permissions granted once.
Eight: 32:9, 20:9, 16:9, 16:10, 4:3, 3:4, 9:16 and 9:20. Each format keeps its own settings, and a screen whose format is not on the list takes the nearest one, rescaled.
Yes. The label can cover the screen, sit as a floating card in a corner, or run as a strip down one side. The rest of the screen then stays visible.
Yes. Laptops, phones and tablets live in the same console, with the same theme and the same gestures. You publish once, the whole aisle follows.
Not for displaying: the client program exists for Windows, for Linux and for Android. A Mac can still manage the whole fleet, since the console is a website.
The device shows a QR code. You scan it with your phone, and it joins your estate with its brand, model, processor, memory, storage and screen already filled in.
No. Each device needs an internet connection, nothing more, and the console works from anywhere. The same network is only required when you add a device: the phone scanning the QR code must be on the device's connection, which proves you are standing in front of it.
Yes. You import your logo, your colours and your typeface so your brand guidelines appear on screen, you adjust twelve elements to the pixel, and you can start from an existing template to save time.
Yes. The console is a website: it opens in the browser of a tablet, a phone or the office computer, with nothing to install.
Yes. The old price appears struck through next to the new one, and you set the angle and the length of the strike.
Yes, both, in their official artwork: the repairability index and the durability index that is gradually replacing it. The energy class, SAR, eco-contribution and private copying levy come with them, and a QR code takes the customer to the full record.
Three devices are free, with no time limit. Beyond that, the subscription is 79 € per month for an unlimited number of devices, with no commitment.
Payment goes through Stripe. The accepted methods are the ones its payment page offers, and SCRIX never sees or stores a payment method.
The "Manage my subscription" button in your console opens the Stripe portal: there you change your payment method, download all your invoices and cancel in one click. At every renewal an email also brings you the link to the invoice.
The screens keep displaying. The period already paid for runs to its end, and a banner warns the manager in the console.
You start the uninstall from the console or from the device itself, and it goes back the way it arrived.
While the device is still on the network, remove it from the fleet in the console: it uninstalls itself at its next call. On the device itself: on Windows and Linux the delivered folder contains « Desinstaller SCRIX »; on Android, seven taps in the top left corner, right in the corner. And if the program no longer responds, a full uninstall tool for Windows and for Linux can be downloaded from scrix.altonet.fr/add.
The screen keeps showing its label, frozen, and the console flags the device for you. It picks up its updates again on its own as soon as it finds the server.
Not by itself: while it is showing its label, the device keeps its own screen awake, on Windows, on Linux and on Android alike. No app, however, can stop a customer from pressing the power button of a phone on display. The label comes straight back when the screen is switched on again, without going through the lock screen, and your console flags the device whose screen is off.
No. SCRIX shows a product sheet on a screen and nothing else: no camera, no sensor, no footfall counter.
In six languages: French, English, Spanish, German, Portuguese and Italian, for the console as well as the store screens.
SCRIX is developed and published by Altonet, an independent agency based in Saulxures-lès-Vannes, in north-eastern France.
Write to contact@altonet.fr. Altonet answers directly, as the publisher of the software.
Electronic shelf labels mean buying a unit per product and a gateway. SCRIX displays on the device's own screen, which measures six to fifteen inches instead of five centimetres, and is already on the shelf.
No time limit, no card details.
